
This article is intended for users who have Hikvision camera systems and use the iVMS 4200 desktop app or through web portal.
Please make sure you have the latest iVMS 4200 app installed. You can find the software downloader at the link below
1. Cameras online in iVMS
Confirm your cameras are showing online in Maintenance and Management.
If you need assistance adding the cameras to the app, please see our attached document walking you through this.

2. Switch to Main View
Select the 4 squares in the upper right corner.
Select Main View
3. Drag and drop for live view
Drag your camera folder from the left side and drop the folder into the four viewing squares.
4. Right click on camera to sync
Right click on any camera to allow a pop up menu.

ONLY select sync if your computer is in the same time zone as the cameras.
Select Sync to sync the time to your computer time.
If you are in a separate time zone than the camera system, you will need to proceed down to step 6 and continue through the web interface.
5. Confirm time is correct
If the time is not correct, give the NVR a reboot.
If still incorrect, please try through the web portal.
6. Web portal change
Use a browser to navigate to your camera system IP.
This is the same IP you would use to add the cameras to the iVMS app.
7. Log in
Log in using your credentials
8. Navigate to Configuration
Select configuration at the top menu
9. Navigate to time settings
on the left hand menu, system settings > time settings > manual time sync
Manually enter the time here. Make sure to Save after editing.
