Change User Password on Hikvision Camera System
This article is for users who have Hikvision cameras installed in their centers
Change User Password
1. Be logged into iVMS desktop app or through the web browser using the public IP assigned to your camera system.
You need to be logged into the user that you are changing the password for
2. On the far right side, select the gear icon and select basic settings.
3. A separate window should pop up. Navigate to User Management. Select the user and select modify
For older NVRs, it may look like this below
5. Logout and confirm the new password works. Make sure to update the password in any password manager.
