Adding camera system to Dahua phone app
This article is for customers adding Dahua camera systems to the DMSS app
Please make sure you are using the most up to date version of the DMSS app, offered on Google Play and App Store
Please make sure are NOT connected to the internal WiFi and are on 5G / LTE services
Adding camera system
1. Opening the app
Please by pass the login screen by pressing the X in the upper left corner
2. Adding device
In the upper right corner, select the + and select 'IP/Domain'
Select NVR from device list
Enter details into Add Device screen.
When completed, select SAVE in upper right corner
usernames are case sensitive
The live view should open up after credentials have been saved.
Troubleshooting:
1. Password change
Some times after a password change the app may have cached in the old credentials and you will need to delete the device from the app and readd
To delete, go to your device list, select the 3 dots, then Device Details
Select delete at the very bottom
deleting the device from the app will NOT delete any recordings or affect the system in any way.
Then follow step 2 on re-adding the system with the new password.
2. Camera live view not loading
Make sure you are not using internal WiFi and are on 5G / LTE services on your phone
