How to create users Windows Pro Edition
This article is intended for customers who have PCs running a Windows Pro Edition operating system.
Creating user:
You will need to be signed into an Administrator account to complete this
1. In your Windows search bar, type in "computer management".
Select the system app from the search results
2. Expand 'Local Users and Groups'.
Right click on 'Users' and select 'New User'
3. Fill out appropriate info.
Required info:
User name
Password
Confirm password
Keep 'user must change password at next logon' to prompt the user to change the password to their own discretion.
Uncheck this and check 'user cannot change password' if you'd like to keep control of the password
'Password never expires' - Default behavior is every 42 days the user will be prompted to change their password upon logon.
Keep this box checked if you do not want the user changing their password.
Click 'create' when completed
