Internet Basics - Things to Look For

Internet Basics - Things to Look For

Is your internet not working correctly? This article will help you determine your network status.

1) Check for the "globe" icon on the bottom right of your screen.

If you see this icon on all computers, please contact us for further support. This is indicative of an outage.

2) If you see this  icon and are still exhibiting some issues, check to see if you can navigate to other sites. If other sites work, you're in good shape!

Sometimes, certain websites experience outages. This is usually resolved in a short amount of time.

3) The last thing is to check to see if you're running on backup internet.

Open a web browser tab and enter “what is my ip?” in the search bar.

If your IP address starts with 216 (as pictured), you are on your LTE backup internet. Contact Zenxeon for support and next steps. There is no charge for basic "lifeline" support.

If your IP address does not begin with 216, you are still on your primary internet connection. See this article for help forcing your firewall to use your LTE backup.
