NVR Password Management Practice
In an effort to provide the best service possible, Zenxeon has made it standard practice to retain administrative credentials for all NVRs/camera systems that we service. With this access, we are able to maintain independent user accounts (with varying levels of access) for owners and managers. In the event that a franchisee requests a password change of a manager-level account, Zenxeon (as administrator) would be able to remotely process the change.
Accordingly, requests for password resets, user creation, etc are subject to our standard remote service fees.
If an owner would instead like to retain administrative credentials on their own, please understand that Zenxeon may be unable to provide support for that device. If the password is lost or forgotten, it can take many hours to reset the NVR and some devices cannot be reset at all.
With this word of caution, we will gladly provide admin credentials upon request.
